Monarchs Ringette Girls U14 Win Gold

Maples Monarchs girls U14 Ringette battled to take the gold medal at the 2014 Transcona Ringette Tournament.

A shout-out goes to Joe Cabral and his coaching staff for producing an overtime victory at 1:30 minutes into overtime to secure the win.

Ringette/Power Skating Training

Starting December 26, 2012, Maples Ringette is offering weekly training sessions that focus on developing and improving skating skills.

Practices will be held every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Maples' outdoor rink #1 weather permitting. Classes will be cancelled if the temperature or windchill is below -25 Celcius.

Maples U14B Girls Win Ringette Tournament

Congratulations goes out to our girls U14B team for winning the Dakota Pre-Season Tournament which occurred this past weekend. A great start to the season and if its any indication of things to come it ought to be an excellent season of play for the team and coaches. Great job everyone!!!

Maples Monarchs Girls U10 Ringette ends season with city championship gold medal.

Our Girls U10 Ringette team ended their busy 2012 season on a high note by winning gold at their divisional city final championships.

We'd like to thank coach Roger Tuk for his tremdenous effort and cheer goes out to all team members, assistant coaches, parents and volunteers for putting on an exciting year of outstanding ringette action.

Congratulations go out to the Maples Monarchs Girls U12 Ringette team for winning a silver medal at this years city championships.

A shout-out goes to our all star convenor Cal Taylor and his superb coaching staff for fielding another roster of great teams this year. Maples Ringette continues to field top notch teams and the program continues to attract some of the best players in the district.

A tremendous effort was put on by all Maples ringette players this year and wed like to thank the coaches and parents for making another great season for everyone! You guys are the best and enjoy your summer you deserve it.

2011/12 Winter Ringette Registration Announced

Registrations for the 2011/12 winter season for all Maples Ringette girls will occur on Aug. 25, 30 and Sept. 8, 2011, at Red River Community Centre from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Maples players and parents do not register at Maples! Please go to Red River Community Centre (293 Murray Avenue) on the dates and times indicated.

Try Ringette Event Announced!

Boys Pee Wee City Champs.

Maples hosts Come Try Ringette on September 11, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Maples Multiplex arena, 454 Adsum Drive, Winnipeg. Come watch a AA game prior to the event at 11:45am. Volunteers will be in attendance to answer any questions and handouts on costs, rules and equipment requirements will be available.

2011 Pre-season Camps and Clinics Announced

Time to shake off the summer cobwebs and rink rust and get a jump on the 2011/2012 season! A series of camps will be offered for girls aged 5 and up featuring skating, passing and shooting skills development as well as conditioning and agility training.

Maples Teams Earn Medals at Transcona Ringette Tournament

Two teams from the Maples ringette program earned medals at the Transcona Ringette Tournament played on January 13 - 17, 2010.

Tween 12 and 13 year-olds won Silver medals for their division while Novice 8 and 9 year-olds took their division's gold in a thrilling overtime victory!

Contratulations to the talented and dedicated players and coaches; your hard work and skills do our community centre proud!
