"The fastest game on ice”
Maples is a member of a larger organization known as the “North Winnipeg Ringette Association”. NWRA is the governing body for the game of Ringette in our area and this is where the core values of fairplay are entrenched. NWRA’s mandate is to provide its members programs that promote fairplay, where players are strongly encouraged to contribute in a positive and nurturing environment.

Maples has rich and storied past in the game of ringette, where a number of City and Provincial Championship banners are hanging in the arena foyer. There have also been members who have participated and won at National and Western Championships.
This success is not easily attained unless you have a solid core of volunteers over the years. NWRA is always looking for new people to join the board or just looking to help in supporting this great game.
To the right are a number of links that will help you gain a better understanding of the game or for those who are seasoned veterans, you will find schedules, league standings, camps, and much more.
If you have any questions regarding the game of Ringette don’t hesitate to contact us at nwra@mts.net.
