Maples Seeks Bingo Director
Effective immediately Maples requires a Bingo Director to head up our Sunday night games.
This is a volunteer position although we are prepared to negotiate a salary for the right person. Candidates should have some experience with either playing the game and/or operating a small Bingo. The season runs from mid-September to Mother's Day (mid-May) every Sunday from 6 to 10 PM. The Bingo Director is in charge of all aspects of our Bingo including supervising volunteers, managing the Bingo finances, disbursing prizes and reporting to Manitoba Lotteries and the MRAI board.
This position is perfect for a retiree or one who is semi-retired, who enjoys the excitement of spirited Bingo games and likes to work with people from the community. Our Bingos attract approximately 100 patrons weekly of all ages.
Our Bingo program is a treasured event which is very popular within our community and we are working hard to keep it alive but we need help! Please call 772-7321 if you are interested. We will provide training if necessary.
